August 8th was the day of the wedding for the bride who needed to make the decision on the calla lily soap favor so now I can reveal her choice. If you don't remember the other options, you can read the previous post and while you are there, check out the results voted on by my readers. My readers especially loved the long stem calla lily soap favor. She chose the small calla lily soap favor with alternating colors to match her wedding colors. Half of the calla lily soaps were packaged in a clear box with green tissue paper and tied with a green stretch bow while the other half were packaged in a clear box with purple tissue paper and tied with a purple stretch bow. She and her mother were very pleased, two of the most important people in the wedding. I would like to send another thank you and congratulations to the new wife and hubby!

Fall is my favorite time of year here in Santa Barbara. It used to be Winter in other parts of the country because I loved wearing my turtle-neck sweaters. YES, I said it...turtle-neck sweaters! But in Santa Barbara, seasons are a bit unusual. I don't get to build a pile of leaves in my backyard and frolic around in them like I did when I was a kid. Fall in Santa Barbara hosts the time of year for my favorite festival! The Santa Barbara Harbor and Seafood Festival that is! Now don't be surprised if you see me out there from open to close because it's absolutely possible. Some of the other festivals that I hope to partake in are:

I Do! - It's Wedding Season!
Summer...the most popular time to get married. Wedding season is now upon us and for me it means, busy making cute wedding favor soaps. I see it as my own little way of contributing to a beautiful ceremony of two people making a commitment to each other. Recently, I did these cute little wedding favors using our Love Soap in white scented with the Love Spell Type fragrance.
