Yummy, Yummy, Yummy

I've got love in my tummy! And in each and every soap I make! A few days ago I gushed about my favorite cupcakes...red velvet cupcakes. And then an alarm went off in my head, "Make a Red Velvet Cupcake Soap, silly!" And that's exactly what I did to share my love of Red Velvet Cupcakes with all of you.

Now I know it's not fair of me to keep teasing you with cupcakes you can't eat. Even if you stick a fork in it, it'll still be a soap (ha ha...thanks Robyn and T) so I'll share with you two places where you can get some delish edible cupcakes. If you're in Santa Barbara, pay a visit to Crushcakes and in the Los Angeles area, put on your most comfortable shoes to stand in a line that goes down the street and wraps around the corner for Sprinkles.

Now you can have your cupcake and eat it too!

Cupid Corn Cupcake Soap

Thinking about my past Valentine’s day gifts, I remembered getting roses. I’ve gotten mysterious chocolates and I’ve gotten some of the cutest cards but I have yet to get my all-time favorite…cupcakes! And my favorite cupcakes are the perfect color for the season…red velvet cupcakes…with the red cake and white frosting!

So while I will be out scouring southern California for the perfect red velvet cupcake, Cupid will be at Serah’s mixing up his own cupcake lovin’. Cupid has shot candy corn with that special arrow of love and given us all the love bug.

Cupid Corn Cupcake Soap

Serah’s pink, red and white Cupid Corn Cupcake Soap puts a twist on an all-time favorite for Valentine's Day! Our Cupid Corn Cupcake Soap is made with extra lather glycerin and shea butter soap and scented with the Pink Jasmine Musk fragrance.

The Cupid Corn Cupcake Soap is featured in 1HappyCorner.com Gift Blog's Valentine's Day Gift Guide. Check it out here.

Who doesn’t love a cupcake? Nothing says you love ‘em like some cupcake lovin!

Double The Treasury

Yellow Cupcake Soap
Double the Treasury...the Etsy Treasury!  I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Serah's Yellow Cupcake Soap has been featured in not one, but TWO treasuriers on Etsy on the SAME DAY!  I was just tickled pink!  I'd like to say a BIG THANK YOU to the artists that chose my Yellow Cupcake Soap for their treasury.
Artist #2: JetWhitePonytail
Of course, I had to rush over to Etsy to visit their shops and I was immediately taken by JetWhitePonytail's Take me to a Beautiful Destination Dress/Skirt and Northern Girl Jewelry's Zebra Jasper and Copper Necklace.
For those of you not familar with Etsy, let me tell you what a treasury is (taken directly from the Etsy website).
The Treasury is a member-curated gallery of short-lived lists of 12 hand-picked items each. Members can feature their favorite items, items selected on a theme or just whoever they like. The Treasury is not intended for self-promotion, but instead to acknowledge and share the many cool things for sale on Etsy. Admin often choose an exceptional Treasury list to promote to the the homepage hand-picked items.

Six Vowels and One Consonant

I’ve been tagged three times and this is probably my most random tag yet. This time, I was tagged by Carmen's Blog. Visit Carmen's blog for hair info on Sisterlocks and one of the hottest hair accessories, Tomoka Twists. I should know...I own the Fly Girl Twists by Tomoka Twists.

I searched Google for “seven things” and some how the word vowels was included in the search and I decided that since there are 6 vowels, that will at least get me 90% of the way and I’ll let you take me the other 10%.

So I've given you six random facts using the vowels and I'd like for you to leave a consonant letter in my blog comment and I’ll think of a random fact to go with it.

Here are my random things:
A – Apples
In high school, I took the phrase “apple a day keeps a doctor away” literally. For about 3 months, I think I ate an apple at least once a day if not more. My taste buds just couldn’t get enough of them!
E – Eggs
I have finally been able to duplicate a deviled eggs recipe from one of my favorite restaurants here in Santa Barbara. I can’t spill the beans on the recipe but they are so good!
I – Ice
I almost always have to have water ice cold! I mean REALLY cold!
O – Oven
Oddly enough, I actually got burnt to a crisp the other day by my oven while trying to cook a roast and vegetables. I died and was floating around as a ghost spooking people. Then I had to pay the Grim Reaper $100 to come back to life. In case you haven’t figured it out, I was playing The Sims.
U – Understanding
I have a new hobby…photography and I’m trying to understand aperture and shutter speed. I’m filling my Flickr profile so fast. Want to take a look? Click the images below.

Y – Year
I have been chosen as a Featured Member on Ultimate Connection For Small Business Owners! I was notified on the 1st day of the New Year.
